		<description>Thanks for the note on spot.us - we are in the VERY early stages right now, but hope to have a more dynamic site in the fall.

It&#039;s def. something I&#039;m very passionate about. Actually - the idea for spot.us came while I was the research assistant for Jeff Howe on his book &quot;crowdsourcing.&quot; I was researching the chapter on &#039;crowdfunding&#039; - and wondered if it could work for journalism.

We will find out in the fall!
